Stone House Gardens began in 1999 as a Perennial growing operation and Landscape Design & Installation business. Having achieved a certain notoriety in the local area for great quality perennials and outstanding service we opened a year round street front store in 2001. Many years of growth and expansion have lead us to our current store location at 18 Main Street Warkworth where the best in home and garden style is presented together in signature Stone House Gardens style. Neil and Wayne, the owners, are constantly on the look out for new and innovative design and décor ideas while maintaining a timeless sense of style in the store. Merchandise is presented in a casual yet refined atmosphere with an emphasis on quality and value. Cheryl, our floral designer, is an integral part of the business in providing outstanding service and spectacular florals for our customers. The store is constantly evolving with new merchandise introduced weekly. Trends are edited and presented with an eye to detail and creative merchandising. Seasonal décor is a specialty with a modern take on classic style. Neil is an accomplished Landscape Designer and when he’s not in the store he can usually be found working on improving the local landscape - one garden at a time. His contracts include residential, commercial and streetscape clients. As the Gardening Editor of Watershed Magazine Neil lends his knowledge and wit to a broad audience of readers in the Northumberland, Prince Edward County and Quinte areas. Wayne, aside from his involvement with Stone House Gardens, works in the financial industry in Peterborough. Along with these endeavours he is a skilled jewelry designer and maker.
